Eunice
Hidalgo
Dancer and professor born in Mexicali, B.C.
She started her education as a dancer at the Casa de Cultura de Mexicali under the tuition of Master Carmen Bojórquez, and continued them in the Autonomous University of Baja California.
She enriched her capacities dancing under the guidance of: Victoria Camero, Jaime Hinojosa, Jean Isaacs, Tulio de la Rosa, Bill de Young, Luis Fandiño, Fernando de Ita, Miguel Mancillas, Adriana Castaños, Angel Mendez and Kim Epifano, among others.
She was awarded the State Award to Youth CREA, in 1996.
She received a scholarship to participate in Isaacs, McCaleb & Dancers’ 18th Annual Dance Workshop in San Diego, Ca. 1992.
She was also awarded a scholarship by the National Dance Coordination of the National Institute of Fine Arts, to study in the City of New York, in 1993.
She was granted yet another scholarship by the State Fund for Culture and Arts (1995-1996), under the banner of Creative Youngsters with Trajectory.
As a founding – member of the Dance group Paralelo
32, she has performed in several prestigious Mexican and
American stages.
She became a member of Antares in 1998.
